I have just published a new directory specifically for lawyers practicing in the Phoenix area. The purpose is to provide users with a non biased list of reputable lawyers to choice from. Listings are free as long as a reciprocal link is given to the directory. This will theatrically boast page ranks for the directory and the lawyer's website which are listed there. Blogging & Audioclaves

Joe and Morgan, the No Apologies crew, have a new blog set up the movies website. They will be able to write to it and update it while they are shooting in Asia. They are leaving in a week to continue production on their independent film in Thailand, Vietnam and Laos. Should be a fun trip for them. Good luck to them and be safe. Flagstaff Downtown

The Flagstaff web cam is a great place to get an up to date look at downtown Flagstaff's heritage square. The web cam is controllable and just about anytime of day I visit the site someone is looking around downtown Flagstaff with it. The pan on the camera is almost 360 degrees and can even get a shot of the peaks. I usually go there to get an idea of the weather around town before I head out on my bike. There is also a less popular route 66 web cam. The website is run by Align North Media group who sells advertising space on the site. Getting a link on that site is a good idea for SEO(search engine optimization) purposes for Flagstaff businesses.

Running XP on New iMac

I was tired of making trips from my house to find a computer running windows. Only to test a page on picky internet explorer to find I didn't fix my glitch. So today I finally got a copy of Windows XP and got it running on my new Intel powered iMac. It was much easier than I anticipated. I was expecting to have to load my console utility and run some code with no idea what the outcome might be. Instead I downloaded a copy of Parallels Desktop and got a 15 day trial license. From there it was pretty much a click through like most Mac software installs are. I can even run each system on its own separate screen with seemless transitions. I am currently running 1 gig of RAM and I think its going to be imperative to upgrade. Processor power was more than enough on a 2.4g Intel core 2 duo. As soon as I saw it start up Windows XP I knew I was going to pay the $80 for a full license of parallels desktop. No more cross-browser issues for me.

Capture Features is trying to raise funding for the production of their independent film No Apologies The Education of Gary Reed Meyer. Barack Obama For President

The second term for George W. Bush is finally coming to a close. Not a moment too soon for his sake either. With the financial future of the United States anything but certain we need a strong leader in the white house. John McCain is an over militaristic idiot. Wars, tax breaks for the rich and an expensive private health care system has no appeal to me. That's why I am endorsing Barack Obama for president. He is far more in touch with the true daily life of Americans than Mr. Twelveity-five house owning John McCain is. I just added a new documentary to my Netflix DVD queue called Senator Obama Goes To Africa. Should be interesting can't wait to see it.

No Apologies Trailer

Capture Features has just released a trailer for their new DV documentary. The film has been titled No Apologies, The Education of Gary Reed Meyer. The trailer has been released on the official movie website. Watch the trailer at NoApologiesMovie.com. I have also made some navigation changes on the Capture Features website to include the new URL. Morgan and Joe will be heading to Asia in October to start the filming. Search Engine Page Rework

Search engines spiders are cracking down on garbage content. More and more they can decipher what is legitimate content and what is keyword rich seo text. Phoenix ADVI's website has recently been demoted from a page rank of four to two. I plan to rework this page in the near future and remove unnecessary alt tag text and make the h1 tags more relevant to the pages content. I have also optimized Capture features and Pierce Design AZ with some new tricks I have learned. As soon as I get some more time I would like to completely redevelop these websites. Capture Features SEO Re-work

After adding the rough cut of Capture Features' upcoming documentary No Apologies, I re-optimized the website. I did this by adding H1 tags to the bottom of every page and updating the meta descriptions and keywords. This should help to reflect Capture Features' business strategy and drive more relevant traffic to their website. Capture Features is primarily targeting businesses in need of video production in the Portland, Maine area. This includes: business-to-business marketing, TV commercials, corporate sizzle reels, public service announcements, documentaries and instructional videos.
